Workers Take Less Vacation Days

I stumbled upon this news article which discusses new research findings that show fewer people are taking vacation days and their vacations are much shorter than they use to be. The Nielsen Consumer Research found that 52% of people did not take all their paid vacation days over the past year and workers left an average of 7.2 days unused. This is an interesting discovery which shows you the culture is changing and people’s lives are more centered around work as opposed to their personal lives. Check out the article and let me know what you think. Have you found it more difficult to take vacation days? If you are able to take vacation days, what are your tips for having a more balanced work-life balance?
