Rose’s Luxury

Looks tasty. Definitely going to have to check it out… that fried catfish looks amazing.



Earlier this month, I visited my sister in Washington D.C. Our short time together was spent eating at some of D.C’s tastiest restaurants, including the Stars and Stripes Café at the American History Museum. I’m kidding about that one, but seriously our dinner that night will be recorded as one of the best meals of our lives at Rose’s Luxury.

Rose’s Luxury was named Bon Appétit’s “Best New Restaurant” of 2014. After reading about it this past summer, I knew I had to visit.


We arrived at Rose’s Luxury a half hour after they open at 5:30pm, only to discover the restaurant was already full and there was a line about 8 couples deep. We had to wait over 2 hours for a table but my goodness, it was so worth it. The food alone is a game-changer.
